While it may have been "uncharted territory" for the Formula Drift drivers, the drivers that showed up for the Aftermath knew the coarse quite well. Consider it "charted" one said. Mother nature certainly appeared (rain) for close to an hour as she did during the Formula Drift days also. While that tended to cool things off a bit from the 91 degree heat (with a heat index of 100), the track soon dried out and the tires heated right back up.
